Diffusive Gradients in Thin-Films

Ok, that was probably the nerdiest blog-post title ever. But hey, it is the subject treated in my diploma work so do not judge me.

Today I got the chance to learn more about the research going on at the university in the field of DGT (Diffusive Gradients in Thin-Films) analysis. I am going to work together with a very nice brazilian chemist here called Emerson. This Monday we will already get going by preparing adsorbing agents for the DGT devices. I am so excited to finally get to work in a real lab doing real research! Woho!

I have now spent the past two hours trying to finish a preparatory lab assignment. Let me just say: It-was-heavy..

Now I deserve some me time. That includes going to the gym, cook dinner while dancing and singing too loud in my underwear and have dinner in bed watching a documentary.

Good evening and good night!
